Amazon.com movie rentals!

Did you know you can rent movies on Amazon.com?  You download them to your computer and either watch them right on your computer or hook your laptop up to your TV (with the right cables) and watch them on your TV.  Some movies are as low as $0.99!  Plus, for a short period of time Amazon is giving you a $4 credit.  GO HERE to redeem your credit.  I might try it this afternoon and see if I can rent a movie for Austin and I to watch while the girls are asleep.  I think it needs to be used by Jan. 3rd, so act fast!

Giveaway!

Kerry is having a giveaway on her blog right now.  She is generously giving away three of her Christmas CDs.  This CD is awesome.  I ruined my copy listening to it so much.  That, or I kept trying to jam it into the CD player in the car not realizing there was already a CD in there, hence scratching my copy.

But, you can get your very own, non scratched version, at her site, or you can enter for a chance to win one!

Go Here to enter the give away!

$1 Old Navy socks

Old Navy is going to having another crazy 1 day sale.  This time, their warm and cozy socks will only be $1 per pair (limit 5).  I suggest you go there before Saturday and buy your socks, then go back on Saturday during the day sometime and get a price adjustment.  Old Navy allows you 14 days to return with your receipt and get a one time only price adjustment on anything that has gone on sale.  I hear these crazy sales are, in fact, crazy so if you're interested buy early for the best selection and go back on the day of the sale to price adjust.

Free Swiss Miss

Target has a coupon on their website (here) for $1 off the 10 count Swiss Miss.  This 10 count box is on price cut for $0.97, making it free.  You can only print two coupons (per user on your computer), so it's not like you can go crazy with their deals anymore printing off tons of coupons, but free is free, and this will definitely get used in our house.

Holiday's December freebie is a 16 oz juice with any purchase.

$5 off your purchase at Hallmark

No restrictions.  So, if you purchase $5.25 worth of cards, then use the coupon, your total is only $0.25.  Not bad.  You can print this coupon twice.  Also, keep your eyes open for coupons in your magazines.  These $5 Hallmark coupons have been spotted in O, Real Simple, Woman's Day, and a few others.  I think I might get some wrapping paper for kids birthday parties.  For my family, I usually end up using newspaper (the comics since they're more colorful), but when Austin goes to a birthday party, I splurge :)

Here's your coupon

On second thought, maybe I can use it on Keepsake Oranments for the kids?

More free music for Amazon

For the next 25 days, Amazon is going to be giving away free Christmas music.  One download, absolutely free, each day.  Today's selection is Joy to the World by Casting Crowns.  You'll have to check back every day to see if you're interested in their pick, they are keeping the rest of the selection a secret.

3 Sweaters and a Scarf for $30!!

Right now at Vicki's, you can purchase 3 sweaters and a scarf and your total will be $30 (or right around there, I haven't done this yet so I can't say for sure).  Just put three sweaters in your "cart" and then add a scarf (read carefully, it has to be the qualifying scarf).  Then at checkout, enter these three codes:

3for30
scarf09
vssave20

Your total should be $30.99 (or so).  That's a pretty great deal!

Free $3 in Amazon MP3 downloads

Go here and sign into your Amazon account.  Then just type in the code MP34FREE and you will be credited $3 towards your next MP3 purchase.  Just enough to stock up on a few holiday favorites.  I have some recomendations.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Barenaked Ladies & Sarah McLochlan
Little Drummer Boy - David Bowie and Bing Crosby
We Need a Little Christmas - Angela Lansbury

Those are a few of my favorites right now.

$5 off Star Wars

Coupons.com has a lot of toy coupons right now, but they recently added a $5 off any $20 or more Star Wars purchase.    Star Wars has taken over our family room so I figure it's probably popular in other family rooms too.  Maybe some of you can use this.

Cheap Ritz crackers

Target currently has Ritz crackers for $2.50.  Use a target coupon (here - page 8 of their annoying new system) and a $1 off manufacturer coupon from your 11/8 Sunday paper inserts, and you'll walk away with a box of Ritz for $0.50.  With the holidays approaching, now might be a good time to grab a box or two for any sort of parties you're hosting that require a vessel for the dips and spreads.

Say it ain't so....

Target has changed the way they are allowing us to print coupons.  I'm pretty sad.  They used to have some pretty great pritnable Target coupons and you could print as many as you wanted.  These could be paired with manufacturer coupons.  Now, just today, they changed their site and you are only allowed to print two of each coupon.  Also, I'm fairly certain you will no longer be able to print coupons in the store at the gift registry kiosks.  Since my printer is a piece of junk, this pretty much means no more Target coupons for me.

A moment of silence....

Yankee Candle Coupon - B2G2

If you buy yankee candles, this is a good deal good through November 29th.  For every 2 large jars you buy, you can get 2 free.  I think the large jars are normally $25, so, like I said, this is only a good deal if you really like Yankee candles.  I don't think they have sales or coupons very often.

Alpha Pal by Leapfrog for $0.49

Run, don't walk to your nearest Toys R' Us.  When you get in the store, grab their Friday/Saturday ad and leave.  It looks like this:

Now take that ad to Target and buy that little caterpillar in the top left corner of this ad and use the $10 off Target coupon found online, or in the store in their toy catalog (usually a bunch of these on an endcap in the toy department).  Buy the toy, use the coupon, and then take the ad to the customer service desk and have them price match the Toys R' Us ad.  Then you have just received this $20+ toy for $0.49!  Even if you don't have kids or grandkids....get one and donate it to Toys for Tots!

$0.99 Mr. Potato Head

Coupons.com (right side of this blog....click on the top where it says "see all coupons") has a $5 coupon off a Mr. Potato Head "spud bud".  Target currently has the Mr. Potato Head pictured above in their holidy section by all the other stocking stuffers.  It's $5.99.  With the $5 off coupon, that makes it a very reasonable $0.99.  You can print off two coupons per computer.  I just picked up two for stocking stuffers for the girls.  Shhhhhh!

Black Friday Ads starting to leak

The Target "Black Friday" ad has been leaked already.  You can check it, and many others, out here.

Nothing too great.  Just thought I'd let you all know in case you want a sneak peek.

Cheap Baby Wipes!

Right now, on the Target website is a $1 off coupon for Up&Up wipes (that's the Target brand).  This is turning into a great deal!  Toddler flushable wipes are only $0.97 so they are free.  Rob loves these (for Ellie).  The regular box of wipes is $1.57 so they are then only $0.55.  Frankly, none of Target's wipes are all that expensive so it turns out to be a great deal no matter how you use the coupon.

I was just there today and my before coupon total was $78.xx and my after coupon total was $56.xx!!!  I love coupons!

30% off Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy

And print out a coupon good for 30% off any regular price purchase from Nov. 12-15th at any of the stores in the title.

Target Deals

Here's some deals for the week of 11/9 at Target.  Some involve price matching and all involves coupons of some sort.

Duncan Hines Cake Mix - $0.21 for 2!

  • Price Match Duncan Hines Cake mix with Rainbow foods for $0.88 each

  • Use Manufacturer coupon for $0.55 off 2 boxes

  • Use two Target coupons for $0.50 off each box

Kellogg's Cereal - $0.50 per box
  • Price match with Rainbow for $2.50/box (or if you find a better deal, go for it)
  • Use $1 off Target coupon for each box
  • Use $1 off Manufacturer coupon in this weekends paper.
Ocean Spray Juice - $0.99
There are probably some other great deals, but those are the few that jump out at me today.  We go through a lot of juice and anything under $2 for 100% juice (no high fructose corn syrup) is a good deal.  Cake mixes get used a lot around our house for various desserts.  Not just cakes.  Just do a google search on Cake Mix Recipes to find one for you.

Happy Shopping!

$5 off Any Disney Blu-Ray

Here is a link

Use the link above to print off a coupon (you can print twice from each computer) for $5 off any Disney Blu-Ray DVD.  It doesn't expire until December sometime, so I'm guessing you could print them off now and use them in a couple weeks when the Black Friday and other great Christmas sales start coming out!

I'm now going to go jump in a car for a weekend full of driving.  I'll hopefully find some great deals to post when I return!

Pre-Black Friday Sale at Walmart

This Saturday, November 7th, at 8am, Walmart will be running some pre-Black Friday deals.  I haven't really checked out too many, but each store will have a minimum of 10 XBox 360 Arcade Consoles on sale for $199, but here's the kicker, you get a $100 Walmart gift card with this purchase.  So, $99 for an XBox sounds like a great deal to me.

Details Here

There are other deals too, but I have no idea if they are any good.  Check it out!

This one's for the Ladies

Sorry to discriminate men, but I don't think you'll want to partake in this one.

From now until November 15th, when you go to Victoria's Secret and get a free bra fitting, you will get a free Beauty Rush lip gloss.  Not bad for about a 2 second "procedure".

Tons of FREE Photobooks

Rather than just re-typing everything "Sprend Freely Mama" has already typed, I am just going to send you to her site.  If you are into the photobooks made popular by places like Snapfish and Shutterfly, then you should check out her post.  If you use all the codes she has listed, you can get up to 15 photobooks free (various sizes)!  I personally have trouble finding the time to make one, but if you just threw some pics together, or already do digital scrapbooking, then this would be a great deal!

Go to Spend Freely's site here

Free Muffin at Holiday

This month's Holiday Stationstore freebie is a muffin.  Free with purchase, that is.  I'm going to miss the coffee coupon, but I've had their banana chocolate chip muffin.  It was tasty.  And large!

Coupons.com

You may have noticed that on the side of my blog, I now have an ad for Coupons.com.  This is a great website for coupon printing.  However, if you use the link on my sidebar, you can just click "see all coupons" at the top of the ad and it will give you a nice list of what's available, instead of having to scroll through pages and pages of coupons and waiting for your computer to load each page.  I think it's a time-saver.  And, don't forget, if there is a coupon on there you like, you can usually print each coupon twice per computer.  I, myself, will be printing off a couple of those $1 coffe-mate coupons.  It's only $2.68 at Walmart so that will make for some cheap creamer.  Also, if you've never tried the "Macaroni Grill Meals"...they are pretty tasty and easy.  The are also found for less at Walmart.

Happy Printing!

50% off anything at Payless Shoes

On Oprah today, she has a guest on (don't know his name) who is debuting a line of shoes at Payless.  After her show (or maybe during) she will have a 50% off coupon on her website that will be good towards anything at Payless Shoes.  My details are sketchy, but it's worth a look.

I can't tell you the last time I've been to a Payless Shoes.  I just don't see them around much anymore...or maybe I'm not looking.  However, I am confident if I find one I could walk out with several cute shoes for Ellie.  She's kind of a shoe horse.  I just went online to check out their selection.  If anything, this deal might make for some good deals on slippers.  Our basement is cold in the winter!

Here's Oprah's website, so click there after her show to print your coupon.  It's only good today, and tomorrow!

Update:  Here is the coupon!!!

Free Archer Farms Treats

In the Target bakery there are all sorts of goodies made by Target's high end brand "Archer Farms".  Right now, Target has a coupon good for $1 off an Archer Farms bakery item.  When the girls and I were there today, we found these:

One is a tub of "brownie bites" and one is a tub of "mini orange cranberry scones".  I haven't had the scones yet, but the brownies are pretty delish!

Cheap Kellogg's cereal

Target has a $1 off coupon for the purchase of one box of Kellogg's cereal.

If that doesn't print well, click here.

Anyway, this is how the deal works.  Take your Cub ad (or, if you don't have Cub look at your other stores, becuase there is a better than average chance someone has Kellogg's on sale for under $2) to Target, purchase your cereal, use the target coupon (and any other coupons...there are lots of manufacturer coupons out there for Kellog's) and when you're done wtih your purchases take the ad to the Customer Service desk with your reciept and have them price match your ad.

I have $1 manufacturer coupons to use with my $1 off Target coupons, so my cereal will be free!  Perfect timing since Austin was just asking for "Tiger cereal".

Old Country Buffet B1G1

This deal is for about 3 people in the world who like OCB.  My dad is one of them (and yes Dad, they have these in Indiana).

It's a coupon for a "buy one buffet get one free".  It's also good at Ryans, Fire Mountain, Country Buffet, and  Home Town Buffet, in case any of those sound more familiar.

I, myself, do not enjoy the place.  Buffet's in general give me the heebie jeebie's.  Plus, I had an unfortunate experience with an ice cream machine at OCB once that I haven't been able to let go.

Barnes and Noble coupons

I didn't even know that B&N had coupons, but lookey here!

I'm particularly excited about the free cookie and hot chocolate for the kiddos.  I wonder if I can convince them that each of my children are seperate customers, and yes, of course Riley needs her own cookie and hot chocolate?  Okay, actually, that's the only coupon I'm excited about in the bunch.  And, make note, it's only good for this Saturday, the 24th.

Movie Tickets

There is a new promotion going on with General Mills Cereal.  When you enter just two codes from specially marked boxes on their website (here), they will send you an e-ticket worth $12 to bring to your participating theater.  I'd say "free" movie tickets, but you have to buy the cereal.  But, most household with kids, and many without, are going to be buying cereal anyway so why not get a movie ticket out of the deal?

Oh, and they are normal participating theaters too.  You can check here for a theater near you.  I once did this with another promotion and my nearest participating theater was 25 miles away.  Not the case here!

And, of course, don't forget your coupons for the cereal!

Cheap Sit and Spin

Makes me dizzy just looking at it!

Anyway, this week, Target has the Sit n' Spin on sale for $20.  Plus, in this weekends paper, there was a $10 off coupon.  Or, if you don't get the paper, there is a printable coupon right here (page 7 when I last checked).  The total would only be $10.  Might make a nice Christmas gift the little kids in your life (so long as they aren't my kids - I bet this is loud).

Free Redbox Rentals

I'm a big fan of renting movies at a Redbox machine.  They're located all over the place now.  Holiday, Cub, Walmart, McDonald's, and Walgreens all have the machines.  Holiday stations even have them outside so you don't have to run in.

I like that you can rent at any redbox and return at a different redbox.

I like it even more when I have free codes.  Here are a few free codes I have found.  You can use each code once per credit card.

DVDONME
BREAKROOM
DVDATWAG (only useable at Walgreens)

Let me know if you know of any other free rental codes.

Advanced Auto Parts coupon

Couponing just became fun for the guys too.  I'm stereotyping....but this coupon doesn't excite me in the least.  I'm throwing it up there for anyone who likes to shop at auto parts stores.  Once you enter their drawing, then you get a coupon for $10 off your next $25 purchase.  You can enter and print it as many times as you want.  We seem to go through windshield wipers a lot.  Maybe this is a good time to stock up.

Snow White on DVD coupon

Update #2:  I didn't see the plain DVD at Walmart, but they had the Blu-ray/DVD combo for $19.96.  I got it, and split it with my sister, who has a Blu-Ray player.  Then it's only $5 each.  Also, there is a $5 Hefty rebate if you purchase a qualifying Hefty product and the DVD.  You can find that HERE
And that is probably more than you ever wanted to know about the movie Snow White!

Update!  Walmart has the plain DVD (no Blu-ray) for about $16, with the coupon it will only be $6.  Awesome!  If I can hold onto it long enough, then this will be a fun Christmas gift for Ellie.  Chances are, I'll break it open long before Christmas though.

Click Here to print off a $10 off coupon for Snow White, which was just re-released on Blu-ray and DVD this week.  Target currently has this for $24.99, so that brings it down to $14.99.  Not bad for a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack.  I'm not sure you can buy just the DVD.  But, if you are planning on purchasing this movie, I think movies are always at their cheapest their first week of release.  I'm pretty sure we'll be purchasing this because Ellie is just starting the "princess phase" and Riley probably isn't too far behind.

Cheap Mott's

If you can't tell already, Target is my favorite store these days.

Anyway, they're running a great deal on Mott's applesauce and Juice this week.  Two things we go through a lot of, in this house!  Buy 5 products (either 64 oz juice or 6 pk of applesauce), and receive a $5 giftcard.  Each item is $1.75.

If you keep rolling the giftcard into a new transaction each time, then each transaction, after your first, would only be $3.75, or $0.75 for each item.  That's a little over a dollar off each items regular price.

Free Holiday Coffee

Well, it's "free with purchase", but gas counts as a purchase so that works for me!

Free 16 0z coffee at Holiday Station stores.  You can print out as many as you want and it doesn't expire until the end of the month.

I like their medium roast with one shot of caramel and one shot of Bavarian chocolate and a packet of the pink sugar.  Yum!

Free Starbucks on Friday

I don't really like Starbucks.  I'm more of a Caribou girl.  But, if you have no preference, or prefer Starbucks, then go there on Friday.  Take a quick taste test challenge, and they will give you a coupon for a free large brew.

Details here

Cheap Chex Mix

Rumors have it that Chex Mix is only $1.17 at Target right now.  So, after this coupon, it would only be $0.17 a bag.  I'm not entirely certain this coupon above will print well, but you can also print it here.  I've also seen manufacturer coupons out there for Chex Mix, which would then make it free, but I have no idea when they came out and you'd have to have them still....unlikely.

I'd like to recommend the Turtle Chex Mix....yum!

Free Uncrustables

My kids LOVE these.  But, I think they're kind of expensive for a PB&J that I can make at home.  But, in a pinch, they are an easy and quickly devoured lunch.  Plus, if your kids are school age, you keep them in the freezer, throw them in a lunch box frozen and by the time lunch rolls around they are thawed, but in the meantime, they have kept everything else in the lunch box cold.

So, without further delay...go HERE.

You just have to submit an "after school" tip.  Make one up.  They'll never know.

New link for poptart coupon

Okay, so I guess Target already changed their coupons.  But, you can still find the pop tart coupon here.  The deal's still on...

Saturday, September 26, 2009

Free Pop Tarts

Actually, Target will probably pay you $0.48/box to take them off their hands.

Here's how.

Target has $1 off coupon here for an 8 count box of Brown Sugar (high fiber) poptarts.
Since it's a Target coupon, you can combine it with any manufacturer coupons out there for poptarts.  I had 6 $1 off coupons in my stash so I got 6 free boxes of poptarts.  Not bad.  I personally can't stand them, but when we're running behind some mornings, the kids love them!

I'm not sure how much longer that Target coupon will be up on their site so print a bunch now.  They don't expire until 10/10/09, but Target changes their coupons frequently so it won't be available for long.

Oh, and the poptarts are only $1.52 to begin with, so even if you don't have any manufacturer coupons, $0.52/box isn't too bad.
